The New Charles & Colvard

Today, I’m excited to tell you about several things that we’ve been working on. Our team has been very busy. Because of your continued interest and demand for Forever One moissanite, we’ve created a second grade of Forever One, in G-H-I quality. This near-colorless gem is as brilliant and beautiful as our colorless version, just with a slight icy hue.

For those of you unfamiliar with gemstone color grading, let me explain. The Gemological Institute of America, or GIA, grades the value of diamonds on color—colorless being the most valuable. As you go down the scale—letters of the alphabet D to Z—the more color you see in the gemstone. Typically, diamonds found in jewelry stores range from colorless to near-colorless, with slight hints of yellow or brown. This scale is technically not designed to grade moissanite, but since it’s the industry standard, we use this scale to help identify the grades of our created gemstones. Our colorless gems fall within the D-E-F range, near colorless in the G-H-I range and faint color we consider to be in the J-K range.

Forever One is created from the highest quality of silicon carbide available and was previously only offered in one grade, D-E-F. Our new G-H-I grade gemstone is also cut from this same high quality material, ensuring that no matter what Forever One grade you choose, your stone will be more brilliant than any other gemstone. Our D-E-F and G-H-I options give you more opportunity to select the moissanite that reflects your unique story.

In order to deliver the best Forever One experience, we’ve built a new e-commerce website. We consolidated all of our web properties into charlesandcolvard.com and given the brand a much needed facelift. This new site more accurately reflects our company, our customers and our superior products.

Speaking of products, we’ve expanded our selection. Our bridal category continues to grow in popularity, so we’re bolstering our selection of bridal styles. We’ve also added more fashion forward designs to our collection for everyday wear. Now, you can add a touch of sparkle to every occasion.

The one thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to you. Your gemstone is guaranteed to remain as brilliant as the day you bought it.  In addition to our limited lifetime warranty that protects your moissanite against color, clarity or brilliance changes, we’ve upgraded our warranty to protect against damage, such as chips and breaks, to your gemstones.
