Sharing Gratitude for Brilliant Moms: More of Your Inspiring Stories

“All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my mother.” – Abraham Lincoln.

We couldn’t agree more with Lincoln. Whether you’re married to one, the mother of one, the son of one, or the best friend of one, these special mother figures deserve a shout out for all their hard work! Over the past few weeks, we’ve shared loving stories from Catherine, Meghan, Melissa and Bianca about their superhero moms. This week, we will celebrate two more amazing moms who have inspired their daughters to be the best version of themselves.

If you’d like to see your mom featured in our blog series, share your story with us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using #BrilliantMoms!

“She sees me for who I am and pushes me to be the best version of myself.”

“I would like to introduce you to the most inspiring woman I’ve ever met or heard of: my mother. She is my superhero, my biggest cheerleader and my best friend. I'm pretty sure anyone who's ever come in contact with my mom can testify that she may be the kindest woman on the planet. Debatably even the whole universe. She's the woman who walks into a room and makes your soul feel lighter. The kind of person who loves to love others. Her selflessness knows no limit. I have lost track of the number of dinner's she prepared for families in need and don't even get me started on the countless batches of cookies she makes for people who need a little sugar in their life. She gives her time, resources and gifts whenever and wherever possible. Which is 25 hours a day, 8 days a week. The older I get, the more I realize just how lucky I am to be the one she calls daughter. There isn’t a moment in my life when I’ve doubted how unconditionally she loves me. She sees me for who I am and pushes me to be the best version of myself. My mother is a force to be reckoned with. She is a life changer a safe place to rest, and a rock when my world starts shaking. Her radiance touches everyone she comes across!” – Jennifer L.

“She taught us to ask questions and try new things.”

“My mom experienced adversity growing up, but did not let it define her. She has a great sense of humor and taught us not to take ourselves too seriously. She's showed us how to work through the tough times in relationships without giving up. She taught us to ask questions and try new things. And after she raised us, she started writing novels and has finished several! She's an amazing example and deserves the best for Mother's Day!” – Melissa M.
