Moissanite & Manis at Paintbox Nails

Here at Moissy.com, our mission is to spread the word about the amazing gemstone that is moissanite. To get even more people excited about this stunning, sustainable jewel, we recently held an event at New York City’s hottest manicure studio, Paintbox Nails.  What better accessory for an amazing manicure than a stack of moissanite rings?

More than twenty editors from some of the most well-known bridal, fashion, and accessories publications in the United States attended the event. Members of the Charles & Colvard® team showcased the brand’s new colorless moissanite, Forever One™, and highlighted moissanite’s particular appeal among Millennial couples.

On display were loose Forever One™ gemstones in various sizes, and ring styles featuring the new stone.  A selection of styles from Moissanite.com were on view as well, along with gorgeous custom styles from Venazia™ Haute-Couture. One designer, Kristin Coffin, who was also attended, brought along some of her beautiful nature-inspired rings for the editors to view and try on.

Attendees included editors from Cosmopolitan, Glamour, HuffPost Beauty, JCK Magazine, People StyleWatch, StyleCaster, The Knot, US Weekly, and Women’s Health. The talented Kristin Coffin spoke to the assembled editors about working with moissanite in her jewelry designs. It was her customers who brought the stone to her attention, and now it’s her best seller!

After their custom manicures, editors were invited to try on as many of the display rings as they wanted. Needless to say, they were very excited! Particularly popular styles included the Mistel ring from Moissanite.com, the Britta eternity band by Venazia ™Haute-Couture, and  Kristin Coffin’s new hexagon setting moissanite ring in rose gold.
